MAINTENANCE

When something goes wrong inside or out of the home, the first step is to figure out who is responsible for fixing it. For homeowners in the Chestnut Hill community, this matrix will help identify who needs to do what.

Unit owners are responsible for maintaining and repairing everything within their units and beneath the ceilings of their unit including pipes that service the unit. Additionally, unit owners are responsible for repairing or replacing any part of their unit that is damaged or destroyed through negligence on their part or on the part of guests.

IF YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE any contractor you use to complete repairs must be licensed bonded and insured. You are also required to get approval from your respective association and submit the contractor’s documents prior to work being completed.

IF THE BUILDING ASSOCIATION is liable for repairs, contact your building president.

IF THE MASTER ASSOCIATION is liable for repairs, contact the Master Association using the form on the “CONTACT” page.

The Master Association is directly responsible for:

* Community Clubhouse
* Re-pavement/Repair of Streets
* Replacement/Repair of all sidewalks 
* All street lamps and lights along Chestnut, Tanglewood & Portions of Woodhollow.
* Erosion control in retention ponds
* Grass mowing and Lawn maintenance
* Pruning and maintenance on trees and shrubs
* Repair and maintenance of seating in outdoor green communal area.
* Snow plowing for streets, driveways and walkways along Chestnut, Tanglewood & Portions of Woodhollow.
* Enforcement of the Rules and Regulations for the Master (Umbrella) Association
